Generals,
The Errata online actually states specifically that siege engineers and siege engines do NOT count towards the 33% archery rule.
Do we want to stick with our house rule, or revert to the global rule?

Vote NO, but exception for siege engines that CAN'T fire at field targets (i.e., crew of Mordor catapults without severed heads and trebuchets would NOT count against the 33% archer limit).
Reason being that crunching the numbers tells me that the engines are priced roughly equivalent to their effect in archers.
OTOH, I've never understood the purpose of the 33% rule other than GW marketing their armies that way.
I vote also that we keep our current house rules. I also agree with Richter that this should only apply to siege engines that can fire at bf targets. For engines that can ONLY fire at other siege targets, these should not count.
sounds good to me-bf targetable engines count.
